Marqeta, Inc. is seeking a Group Product Manager for the Core Platform - Flexible Payments team. You will own the strategy and execution for next-generation flex cards powered by Flexible credentials, partnering with customers, networks, and partners to accelerate growth.

This is an individual contributor role with potential to lead PMs as the business scales, working in a fast-paced fintech environment that embraces flexible work options.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years at senior/group level with portfolio ownership.
• Hands-on experience with card issuance platforms and card economics along the full lifecycle.
• Strong awareness of fintech innovation, embedded finance, stablecoins, tokenization, and digital wallets.
• Proven track record taking complex products from strategy to scale in an API-first, high-growth environment.
• Strong technical acumen to work with engineering on API-driven products.
• Strong financial and analytical skills to build business cases and present to executives.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Define multi-year vision and roadmap for next-gen flex cards and monetization.
• Lead monetization strategy with pricing, networks, and program economics.
• Direct execution across multiple squads from discovery to launch and adoption.
• Build strategic relationships with card networks, banks, fintechs, and customers.
• Track fintech trends and translate into differentiated product bets.
• Prioritize with data and make invest/roadmap tradeoffs for leadership.
• Align engineering, design, data, legal, compliance, risk, finance, and GTM; mentor PMs.
