SME Careers is seeking a Greek Language Specialist (SME) to review AI-generated Greek content and create high-quality Greek reference content. You will assess outputs for accuracy, fluency, grammar, tone, and cultural appropriateness, with feedback in English.

This remote hourly contractor role requires native-level Greek, strong English, and 3+ years in language-focused work; open to candidates in Greece. Interview language is English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in linguistics or related field or equivalent experience.
• Native Greek with high English proficiency (C1+).
• 3+ years in writing, editing, localization, translation, or language-focused work.
• Deep understanding of Greek grammar, spelling, punctuation and style, with ability to explain fixes.
• Experience with AI data training or editorial QA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI training content: create prompts and gold-standard Greek answers across domains.
• Evaluate and rank AI outputs to improve fluency, tone and cultural accuracy.
• Detect unsafe content, bias or factual errors; provide high-quality rewrites and model answers.
