GLOBAL LANGUAGE STRATEGIES in the United States seeks an experienced Greek-to-English or English-to-Greek translator and editor for ongoing document translation and editing tasks. This remote, freelance independent contractor role involves handling official documents, including vital records, legal documents, official certificates, and academic transcripts.

Assignments come as-needed with potential quick turnarounds.

Qualificações

• Native or highly proficient Greek and English language skills.
• Two to five years of proven experience as a translator and/or editor.
• Bachelor’s degree in translation, linguistics, language studies, or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to produce client-ready work with strong formatting.
• Willingness to work as a remote freelance contractor.

Responsabilidades

• Translate Greek to English or English to Greek accurately.
• Edit and review translations for grammar, formatting, and consistency.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow client-specific instructions.
• Meet deadlines, including one-to-two-day turnarounds when required.
