Standing Trees is seeking a Grassroots Mobilization and Communications Manager to advance our mission of protecting and restoring forests across New England. This remote role emphasizes building a robust volunteer network through events, campaigns, and targeted outreach.

You will lead grassroots engagement, manage social media and content, and collaborate with coalitions to expand our reach while accommodating occasional evenings and weekend work as campaigns require.

Qualifications

• Experience in grassroots advocacy or conservation campaigns.
• Ability to recruit, activate, and retain volunteers.
• Strong communications and public speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement grassroots engagement strategies.
• Coordinate events, phone-banking, door-knocking, and outings.
• Grow the Standing Trees community and coalition partnerships.
• Manage communications, website updates, and email newsletters.
