Auto-Owners Insurance is seeking a motivated Graphic Designer to join our in-house creative team. The role focuses on creating visual solutions for print and digital media while upholding brand identity and meeting client timelines.

You will collaborate with clients to define project scope, manage multiple projects, and stay current with design trends. After initial in-person training, a merit-based work-from-home program may offer flexible remote time as approved by leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or several years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Currently or recently engaged in company approved education programs is required.

Responsibilities

Work as part of the in-house creative team to create visual solutions (print and digital) using digital software to communicate ideas that inform and captivate the audience.
Communicate effectively with clients about design, format, and timeframes.
Prepare finished artwork that meets digital and print requirements.
Uphold brand identity standards by following the corporate style guide.
Work independently with clients to determine project needs, audience, and desired results.
Manage all aspects of increasingly complex projects.
Ensure a consistent and effective visual brand and message in all finished projects.
Stay up-to-date with current design trends and techniques.
Travel and attend meetings, seminars, and conferences as required.
Coordinate projects with outside agencies, vendors, printers, and clients as necessary.
Assist with other duties in the department or elsewhere upon request.
