Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in graphic design, visual communication design, communication studies, rhetoric, media studies, or journalism; OR Bachelor’s degree in one of these plus a master's in a closely related field.
• Bachelor's degree in design plus 3+ years of professional design practice
• Experience teaching courses in a college or university setting
• Hands-on fluency with generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Copilot)

Responsibilities

• Review and edit course structure and materials.
• Evaluate learning outcomes and competencies for accuracy and alignment with current health informatics standards.
• Edit skill-oriented course sections and organize topics like electronic health records, health data management, and healthcare IT systems.
• Refine response prompts and rubrics.
• Evaluate existing multiple choice questions for quality and accuracy
