Job summary

Witt O’Brien's Government Solutions is seeking an Associate Consultant II to support State and Local Governments with design and implementation of federally funded programs. You will work within a dynamic team of policy experts, data analysts, and engaged clients to meet fast-paced project requirements and provide end-user support.

Remote position with responsibilities spanning eligibility reviews, research, policy development, and performance analyses to inform decision makers and mitigate

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Bachelor’s degree required; substitutions allowed with 2 years in a technical discipline.
• Experience with performance measures and process mapping preferred.
• Experience with Visio and Teams preferred.
• Able to distill information and work with clients to solve challenges.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Assist with application eligibility review for Federal, State or Local Government grant programs.
• Work with government organizations to maximize federal assistance.
• Perform research and apply analytical methodologies to determine eligibility of expenditures.
• Support prioritization and implementation of programmatic activities and strategic initiatives.
• Create policies and SOPs for use of federal funding at state/local levels.
• Create performance metrics and visualize data to evaluate grant performance.
• Produce memos to establish framework for eligibility and risks.
• Develop tailored briefing materials and reports for stakeholders.
• Present findings to small audiences to support client decisions.
• Identify opportunities to expand services within client organizations.
