The Ohio State University seeks a Sponsored Program Officer to serve as the institutional business official and central contact for pre- and post-award management of externally funded grants and contracts.

You will advise PIs, prepare budgets, ensure compliance, review sponsor agreements, and coordinate post-award activities and subawards. Remote work within Ohio is eligible; a Bachelor's degree and MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two years of administrative experience in information management, compliance, procurement, accounting, and/or financial management.
• Two years of customer service and problem-solving experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsabilités

• Advises PIs on submission of proposals and ensures timely submission.
• Prepares/reviews budgets and ensures compliance with guidelines.
• Negotiates award terms and reviews sponsor agreements.
• Manages post-award matters, including expenditure approvals and closeout.
• Coordinates with purchasing and accounts payable and handles subawards.
