You will partner with grant teams, analyze spending, and ensure accuracy of labor distribution and reporting. The position emphasizes payroll tasks, journal entries, and closeout activities, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is required with enough experience to total eight years.
• One year of payroll experience.
• Intermediate level Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, charts, and formatting.
• Ability to work semi-independently to juggle multiple tasks and priorities.

Responsabilités

• Serve as financial partner over life of grant or contract.
• Collaborate with the pre-award team to prepare proposals, budgets and establish accounts.
• Analyze spending and burn rates on sponsored projects and impact on departmental budgets.
• Review labor distribution and adjust as needed.
• Forecast future spending and close grants.
• Coordinate semester effort certification for supported faculty.
• Resolve issues with SPA and SFR.
