Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) seeks a Grant Manager for PRO Housing to oversee activities under the HUD grant and implement the approved action plan across state agencies and local jurisdictions.

The role coordinates with HUD staff, reviews reporting requirements, and ensures compliance with federal/state guidelines while managing a competitive subgrant process.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or high school equivalency.
• Experience: Six years of administrative staff or professional work.
• Substitutions allowed: 30 college credits per year of experience (up to 4 years).
• Bachelor's degree plus two years of experience can substitute for the required experience.
• Master's degree can substitute for the required experience.
• U.S. Armed Forces experience as described can substitute year-for-year for the required experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the HUD PRO Housing FY24 grant activities.
• Coordinate with agency staff, other state agencies, and local jurisdictions.
• Oversee a competitive subgrant program and ensure program compliance.
