Job summary

Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) is seeking a Grant Manager PRO Housing on a contract basis to lead HUD PRO Housing FY24 activities and coordinate with state agencies and local jurisdictions.

The role requires ensuring grant activities comply with federal and state requirements, managing reporting, and overseeing a competitive subgrant program, with a focus on quality control and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
• Experience: Six years of administrative staff or professional work.
• Notes: substitutions allowed for education/experience as described in the posting.
• Candidates may substitute college credits for experience or degrees as outlined in the announcement.
• Military service may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate activities under HUD PRO Housing FY24 grant award.
• Serve as facilitator of actions described in HUD-approved grant plan.
• Coordinate with agency staff, other state agencies, and local jurisdictions.
• Oversee a competitive subgrant program open to local jurisdictions and ensure quality control.
