Ambipar in the United States is seeking a Grant Management Specialist to support grants and cooperative agreements programs for clients, ensuring compliance and thorough documentation. The role emphasizes attention to detail in pre‑award analysis, award processing, and post‑award monitoring to prevent noncompliance.

You will assist in developing selection criteria, publishing announcements, evaluating proposals, and supporting audits and required reporting per agency policies.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Federal grants experience under CFR Title 2.
• Professional certification (i.e., P.E., CFM, AIA, PCM, PMP).
• Knowledge of Federal and State funded grant programs.
• Knowledge of 2 CFR 200 grants and agreements procurement and compliance standards.
• Analytical and evaluative techniques for grants administration issues.
• Experience addressing strategic issues in grant administration operations.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree in business, public policy or public administration.
• Able to work extended hours if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist in compliance with grants and agreements policies and guidance.
• Assist in drafting grant requirements, selection criteria, and applications.
• Support internal review and approval per agency process and policy.
• Prepare the award document and supporting documentation per agency policies.
• Monitor execution to ensure funding is used per grant policies.
• Assist in monitoring internal controls for grants to prevent fraud, waste, and abuse.
• Support client agencies with required reporting and audit compliance.
