Placements24 is recruiting a Graduate Accountant for a remote role that supports operations and client services in South Africa. You will gain exposure to audit, accounting and financial advisory services while working with experienced chartered accountants.

The position emphasizes extensive training, mentorship and support for professional qualifications, offering a strong start to a public accounting career.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (e.g., BCom, CTA).
• Completion of or enrollment in SAICA articles or SAIPA articles.
• Solid understanding of IFRS and auditing standards.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in performing financial statement audits for a variety of clients.
• Prepare financial statements and management accounts.
• Conduct reconciliations and general ledger analysis.
• Assist with tax computations and submissions.
• Support clients with bookkeeping and payroll functions.
• Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information.
• Maintain organized audit working papers.
• Adhere to auditing standards and ethical guidelines.
• Participate in team meetings and knowledge sharing.
• Identify and report accounting and financial control weaknesses.
