Job summary

University of Illinois Chicago is seeking a Graduate Hourly - Research Development position in the Office of Research Development. This fully remote, part-time role focuses on identifying and cataloging research funding opportunities relevant to the UIC research enterprise.

Qualifications

Must currently be enrolled in a graduate program at UIC.
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to organize, prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Conduct funding opportunity searches and curate funding opportunity lists.
Collect funding opportunity announcements, news stories and event announcements from diverse sources.
On a weekly basis, compile and organize newly released limited submission funding opportunities in a shared document.
On a weekly basis, compile and organize non-limited funding opportunity announcements, news stories and event announcements in a shared document.
Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
