Job summary

Andromeda is seeking a Deployment Engineer to design, deploy, and operate large-scale GPU clusters for AI labs and compute providers. This remote US role focuses on on-site-like execution through hardware delivery, cabling, and burn-in, with travel up to 50%.

You will manage integrators, own the punch list, and hand over validated clusters to operations; candidates should have GPU deployments experience, strong Linux and firmware skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-moving

Qualifications

• Deployed GPU servers or clusters in production data centers.
• Strong systems skills: Linux, BMC/Redfish, firmware management, hardware diagnostics.
• Experience with liquid cooling systems and direct liquid-cooled racks.
• Self-driven ownership with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel on-site when required.

Responsibilities

• On-site execution: receiving, rack-and-stack, cabling, power-on, burn-in, and acceptance testing.
• Vendor management: direct integrators and contractors per build plan.
• Quality: verify design, punch lists, and closure before acceptance.
• Handover: documentation and handover to the operations team.
• Runbooks: create deployment runbooks and checklists to shorten future builds.
