Job summary

Together AI, the AI Native Cloud, is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to be the first line of defense for customers building training, fine-tuning, and inference workflows on our Kubernetes GPU clusters. You will troubleshoot complex issues, act as a product expert, and partner with product and sales to drive improvements.

This remote, full-time role requires US daytime hours, weekend shifts, and on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a customer-facing technical role with AI/SaaS experience.
• Experience as an SRE or DevOps engineer working with Kubernetes.
• Strong AI/ML, GPU tech, and HPC environment knowledge.
• Experience with SLURM, Ansible, NFS and high-performance networking.
• Familiarity with HPC/Slurm clusters and InfiniBand/RDMA concepts.
• Ability to explain complex tech to non-technical stakeholders.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Engineering, Support, Product and Research.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to resolve complex technical challenges on Kubernetes GPU clusters.
• Act as a customer-facing SRE to keep clusters healthy and stable.
• Become a product expert for the GPU Cluster service and escalate when needed.
• Monitor cluster health and communicate hardware issues with remediation steps.
• Maintain production infrastructure for enterprise GPU customers.
• Investigate and resolve storage and networking issues (Weka, NFS, InfiniBand).
• Collaborate with Engineering, Research and Product to address customer concerns.
• Translate customer insights into action for roadmap inputs.
• Maintain detailed docs of configurations, procedures and FAQs.
• Provide coverage during holidays, nights and weekends as required.
