Job summary

vCluster Labs is seeking an experienced AI Infrastructure Engineer to drive GPU-enabled Kubernetes deployments for customers, from bare metal setup to production-ready vCluster environments. You will implement scalable infrastructure, optimize GPU node configurations, and document deployable playbooks for future customers.

You will collaborate with engineering and sales to shape proof-of-value engagements, contributing to an open-source-driven, remote-first culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years deploying and operating Kubernetes in production, ideally on bare metal.
• Hands-on experience with NVIDIA GPU Operators, CUDA tooling.
• Strong networking fundamentals with CNI, overlay networks and load balancing.
• Experience with distributed storage (Ceph, Rook, Longhorn, etc.).
• Ability to write deployment playbooks and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end GPU neocloud deployments from bare metal to validated vCluster.
• Configure and troubleshoot bare metal GPU node infrastructure, including CNI, RDMA/InfiniBand.
• Deploy and validate Kubernetes and vCluster to provide GPU-powered managed K8s.
• Create reusable playbooks and architectures; transfer knowledge to customers.
• Collaborate with Sales in pre-sales for proof of value.
