Qualifications

• Minimum three years in healthcare/revenue cycle billing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Government and Workers’ Compensation payor guidelines.
• Ability to interpret remittance advices and post billing.
• One year in a call center environment is required.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and Office 365; fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Gather and prepare appeal documentation and payor forms.
• Submit written appeals via payor portal, fax, or email.
• Follow up online and by phone for needed information.
• Maintain knowledge of billing regulations and payor trends.
• Communicate clearly, both orally and in writing.
