Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years in healthcare/revenue cycle billing environment.
• Knowledge of Government and Workers’ Compensation payor billing guidelines.
• Ability to interpret remittance advices.
• Experience with post billing for Government and Workers’ Compensation payors.
• Minimum one (1) year in a call center environment.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Office 365.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Independent work capability or as part of a team.
• Empathic and professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate computer skills and MS Office familiarity.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather and prepare appeal documentation and payor forms.
• Submit written appeals via payor portal, fax, or email.
• Follow up for needed information to complete appeals.
• Maintain knowledge of billing regulations and payor trends.
