Qualifications

  • 5+ years in government relations, political engagement, public policy, or related fields.
  • Experience managing complex projects from planning through execution with multiple priorities.
  • Experience with MS Office, including PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Knowledge of federal election law, lobbying disclosure requirements, corporate political activity, and PAC governance.
  • Excellent attention to detail and judgment with confidential information.
  • Ability to build productive relationships across business functions and external stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

  • Support development and execution of Booz Allen's federal government relations and political engagement strategies in alignment with enterprise priorities.
  • Conduct policy, stakeholder, and political research to develop concise executive briefing materials, talking points, and strategic communications.
  • Lead project planning and operational execution for strategic Government Relations initiatives, ensuring effective coordination across workstreams, timelines, and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate executive engagements with external stakeholders, including scheduling, briefing preparation, logistics, and follow-up.
  • Support planning surrounding congressional hearings, executive testimony, advocacy campaigns, and other high-profile government engagement activities.
  • Drive operational excellence by maintaining project tracking systems, knowledge management resources, and internal communications that enhance team effectiveness.
  • Coordinate team operations, including vendor onboarding, procurement activities, invoice processing, and administrative support.
  • Support day-to-day administration of the Booz Allen Political Action Committee (PAC), including fundraising initiatives, contribution processing, disbursements, and governance activities.
  • Develop communications and educational initiatives that increase employee awareness and participation in the PAC.
  • Partner with Legal, Ethics, Finance, and external vendors to ensure compliance with campaign finance laws, lobbying disclosure requirements, corporate political activity policies, and applicable ethics regulations.
  • Enhance political disclosure reporting through improved data management, reporting processes, and documentation.
  • Identify compliance risks proactively while promoting a culture of integrity, transparency, and responsible political engagement.
  • Foster strong working relationships with internal business leaders, trade associations, advocacy organizations, and external lobbying firms.
  • Coordinate third-party engagement strategies and evaluate external partnerships to maximize advocacy and reputation effectiveness.
  • Manage logistics for high-impact events, including political fundraisers, thought leadership forums, executive engagements, and facility visits.
