Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Government Relations and Political Engagement Specialist to serve as a strategic partner, advancing public policy priorities and fostering engagement with policymakers.

In this role you will coordinate with senior leadership, manage project plans, produce briefing materials, and lead outreach to stakeholders while ensuring compliance with lobbying and ethics requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in government relations, political engagement, or related fields.
• Experience managing complex projects from planning to execution.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office including PowerPoint and Excel.
• Knowledge of federal election law, lobbying disclosures, and PAC governance.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
• Ability to build relationships across functions and with external stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of federal government relations and political engagement strategies.
• Conduct policy, stakeholder, and political research to craft briefing materials and talking points.
• Lead project planning and coordinate across workstreams, timelines, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate executive engagements, including scheduling and logistics.
• Support planning for congressional hearings, testimony, advocacy campaigns, and high-profile events.
• Maintain project tracking systems and internal communications to boost efficiency.
• Coordinate vendor onboarding, procurement, and administrative tasks.
• Assist day-to-day administration of the Booz Allen PAC and related activities.
• Develop communications initiatives to increase employee awareness of the PAC.
• Collaborate with Legal, Ethics, Finance on campaign finance laws and governance.
• Improve political disclosure reporting and data management processes.
• Identify compliance risks and promote integrity and transparency.
• Foster relationships with business leaders, trade associations, and lobbying firms.
• Evaluate external partnerships to maximize advocacy and reputation.
• Manage logistics for high-impact events and facility visits.
