Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Government Relations to lead state and local policy efforts, manage complex projects, and drive internal policy development while supporting federal initiatives.

The role reports to the Senior Director of Corporate Affairs and collaborates with cross-functional teams to advance Ryder’s policy priorities and stakeholder engagement. You will develop analyses, talking points, and advocacy materials, coordinate with policymakers, and ensure timely delivery

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or higher in political science, economics, public policy/administration or related field is required.
• 5+ years of professional work experience in government relations or a related field is required.
• 3+ years navigating state/federal legislative, regulatory, and executive processes is required.
• 3+ years managing cross-functional projects or teams is required.
• 3+ years engaging with external affairs, public policy, sales, investor relations or stakeholder management is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Manage internal government relations programs, policies, and initiatives with full project management support.
• Monitor and analyze federal, state, and local regulations and legislation and track advocacy outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather content and integrate government relations strategies into business planning and external messaging.
• Develop analyses, talking points, advocacy materials, and manage contributors to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including government policymakers, trade associations, customers, and consultants.
