The role requires deep policy expertise and a track record of strategic advocacy in the energy sector.

You will monitor legislation, shape public policy positions, and build coalitions with regulators and industry groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in public policy or political science required.
• 10+ years in government relations or public policy.
• Experience with state utility commissions preferred.
• Ability to translate complex policy for diverse audiences.
• Regulatory and legislative analysis with a focus on utilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze state legislation and regulatory proceedings.
• Develop advocacy campaigns to support grid policy.
• Build relationships with regulators, policymakers, and utilities.
• Represent the company before state agencies and trade associations.
• Collaborate with GR team on federal issues and campaigns.
• Support commercial team in market expansion.
