Job summary

Mississippi Power Co is seeking a Government Compliance Coordinator to support DBA/DBRA compliance and other government contract requirements across federal programs. This role may be filled remotely within the Southern Company footprint based on background and experience.

The candidate will coordinate with partners, manage wage determinations, certified payrolls, and reporting to ensure full compliance with applicable labor standards and contract terms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Construction Management, Project Management, Public Administration, or related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• Experience supporting federal programs, construction projects, infrastructure initiatives, government contracts, grants, or other federally funded activities.
• Knowledge of Davis-Bacon Act and related wage requirements, prevailing wage concepts, wage determinations, certified payrolls.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with partners on DBA/DBRA compliance and government contract requirements for federal contracts and federally funded construction activities.
• Serve as a point of contact for DBA/DBRA compliance and coordinate across multiple projects and stakeholders.
• Assist in implementing wage determinations, payroll oversight, and conformance processes for compliance with labor standards.
