Responsibilities

• Prepare, edit and ensure all claims are submitted accurately and timely per payer contract and guidelines.
• Access client files and payer websites to verify information.
• Provide timely responses to all written inquiries regarding claim/account status.
• Manage claim assignments and follow up on accounts for cash resolution; notify supervisor of compliance or payer trends.
• Contact insurance carriers daily for claim status and patient information; determine reasons for non-payment or underpayment.
• Complete all assignments per schedule.
• Meet daily, weekly and monthly productivity and quality goals.
• Identify and resolve claim or payer issues as they occur.
• Perform other tasks to support organizational goals.
• Require high speed internet and a dedicated home workspace.
