You will contact carriers, verify payer information, respond to inquiries, follow up on balances, and ensure daily productivity goals are met while using standard office software. This role requires focus, organization and reliable internet access at home.

Qualifications

• Experience processing and following up on claims.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, edit and ensure all claims are submitted accurately and timely per payer contract and guidelines.
• Access client files and payer websites to verify information as needed.
• Provide timely responses to inquiries regarding claim/account status.
• Manage claim assignments and follow up on accounts to ensure cash resolution.
• Contact insurance carriers daily for claim status and payment issues.
• Complete assignments according to schedule and meet productivity goals.
• Identify and resolve claim or payer issues as they occur.
• Support organizational goals with additional tasks as needed.
• Maintain a home work space with high speed internet.
