Job summary

TriWest Healthcare Alliance seeks a Government Accounting Manager to lead program financial management across federal contracts, ensuring GAAP-compliant general ledger operations, indirect rate monitoring, and incurred cost reporting. You will partner with Budget, Contract Management, Procurement, and Human Capital to provide reliable financial reporting and support audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Five or more years of general ledger review and analysis.
• Five or more years of overhead rates management reporting and analysis.
• Five or more years ensuring compliance with disclosed accounting practices and federal standards.
• Hands-on experience with indirect cost management and incurred cost submission.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft PowerBI, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Experience conducting or supporting federal government contract audits.
• U.S. Citizen
• Must be able to receive a favorable interim and adjudicated final DoD background investigation

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Accounting on monthly close and ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, CAS, and internal policy.
• Manage incurred cost reporting and annual submissions.
• Oversee overhead rate reporting and variance analysis.
• Support DCAA audits and related activities.
• Develop provisional billing rates and forward pricing rate proposals.
• Lead travel and expense review and reporting.
• Produce timely, complete and accurate financial reports.
• Mentor and develop staff; set goals and assess performance.
• Perform other duties and ensure reliable attendance.
