Job summary

TerrAscend is seeking a Legal Assistant to join its Legal and Compliance team. You will support governance activities, maintain subsidiary entities, and assist with Form 4 filings and Diligent board materials.

The role requires a paralegal background (4+ years) and a Bachelor’s degree, with a focus on process efficiency and cross-functional collaboration across North American operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Paralegal degree or paralegal experience preferred.
• At least 4 years of paralegal experience including project and operations management.
• Strong qualitative, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Board governance prep: agendas, minutes, and consents.
• Manage Board directorship content using Diligent software.
• Assist with entity maintenance for domestic and foreign subsidiaries.
• Draft and review Section 16 filings, including Form 4s.
• Assist with Directors and Officers questionnaires as part of governance.
• Support efficient delivery of legal services and cross-functional projects.
• Provide administrative support to the Legal department.
• Notarization and legalization of corporate documents.
• Assist with equity-related matters and documentation.
