Job summary

ICF is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer to lead mission-critical initiatives for the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA). You will design, develop, and maintain applications using Java, Kotlin, and TypeScript, working with Oracle and SQL Server databases in cloud environments including AWS GovCloud.

Remote role with occasional travel to a client site or office; core hours 8am-5pm ET with flexibility.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret Clearance (TS) required or interim TS considered.
• 2+ years of experience supporting the full SDLC for secure, enterprise apps.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, SE, IT, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of the SDLC for secure, mission-critical applications.
• Design, develop, and maintain Java, Kotlin, and TypeScript apps.
• Develop and optimize Oracle and SQL Server databases for performance and security.
• Build and support cloud-based solutions in AWS GovCloud environments.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment with product, architecture, and DevSecOps teams.
• Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to meet quality standards.
• Create and maintain technical documentation reflecting system architecture and implementation.
• Ensure compliance with DoW policies and security requirements.
• Prepare executive briefings and status reports for government stakeholders.
• Foster positive partnerships with internal and external teams.
