Job summary

MCI is seeking Call Center Representatives for its Get Out the Vote initiative in a fast-paced environment. You will handle outbound calls on behalf of the Republican Party, adhere to scripts and processes, and document customer interactions while maintaining confidentiality.

Strong communication, reliability, and willingness to learn are essential. Starting compensation is described as experience-based, with benefits and growth opportunities across locations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with data-entry utilizing a computer.
• The ability to read and speak English fluently.
• Have a wired, high-speed internet connection.
• Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
• The ability to type swiftly and accurately (20+ words a minute).
• Ability to work regularly scheduled shifts within hours of operation.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Familiarity with Windows PC applications and ability to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound contacts in a courteous, timely, and professional manner.
• Listen to customers, understand their needs, and resolve customer issues.
• Research systems to find missing information and coordinate with other departments.
• Follow client program processes and scripts to complete tasks.
• Utilize systems to complete account management tasks and document claims.
• Escalate issues to appropriate staff or management for resolution.
• Aim for first call resolution through problem solving and effective call handling.
• Attend trainings and stay up-to-date with program knowledge and processes.
• Adhere to attendance and work schedule requirements.
