Job summary

TTC is seeking a Google Workspace Developer to support FRA in migrating from Microsoft SharePoint to Google Workspace. You will migrate content, rebuild collaboration sites, and develop secure business applications and automated workflows using Google Sites, AppSheet, Apps Script, and related tools.

Candidates must be clearable for a Public Trust position, be a US citizen or permanent resident, and have resided in the US for over three years. Remote work in the USA is available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of general experience.
• 4+ years of experience developing or administering Google Workspace solutions or performing enterprise collaboration-platform migrations.
• Strong experience with Google Sites, AppSheet, Apps Script, Google Drive, Shared Drives, Forms, Sheets and Workspace administration.
• Experience with Microsoft SharePoint sites, lists, document libraries, permissions, forms and workflows.
• Experience implementing secure access controls, data governance and information management practices in federal or regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Assess and inventory FRA's existing SharePoint sites, document libraries, lists, workflows, forms, permissions and integrations.
• Develop a phased migration roadmap that maps existing SharePoint capabilities to appropriate Google Workspace solutions.
• Design and build Google Sites for FRA team collaboration, internal resources, and departmental information sharing.
• Develop and maintain AppSheet applications that replace or improve existing SharePoint-based business processes.
• Create automated workflows and integrations using Apps Script, Google Forms, Sheets, Drive, and approved APIs.
• Migrate documents, data, metadata, and permissions while maintaining content accuracy, organization, accessibility and traceability.
• Configure Shared Drives, Google Groups, role-based access, and governance controls in coordination with FRA stakeholders.
• Integrate Google Workspace solutions with existing systems and troubleshoot migration, application and workflow issues.
• Work closely with FRA program, security and technical teams to ensure solutions meet federal cybersecurity and compliance requirements.
• Plan and execute testing, user acceptance, deployment, and post-migration validation activities.
• Document solution architectures, configurations, applications, workflows and operating procedures, and provide training and ongoing support to users.
