Job summary

CTG is seeking a Google Workspace Security & Identity Administrator for an enterprise environment. This remote, 12-month role focuses on Google Workspace administration, IAM, security, and cloud infrastructure, with advanced troubleshooting and project leadership responsibilities.

The candidate will configure and manage SSO, directory synchronization, access provisioning, and security policies, mentored by senior teams while collaborating across infrastructure and security groups.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience administering Google Workspace in an enterprise environment.
• Knowledge of Google Admin Console, user lifecycle management,OUs, groups, roles, and domain settings.
• Experience with IAM, SSO, directory synchronization, authentication, and access provisioning.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for identity, security, and Google Workspace issues.
• Experience enforcing security policies and compliance controls.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and enterprise IT operations.
• Experience with infrastructure automation, IaC, and DevOps practices.
• Ability to resolve complex issues with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience mentoring technical staff is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer Google Workspace environments: users, groups, OUs, domains, roles, security settings.
• Manage user lifecycle, provisioning, authentication, deprovisioning.
• Configure and troubleshoot SSO, directory sync, identity federation, access integrations.
• Enforce security/compliance policies for Google Workspace.
• Troubleshoot complex authentication and Admin Console issues.
• Support infrastructure provisioning, directories, storage, and configuration management.
• Leverage automation and DevOps practices to improve management.
• Lead small technical projects end-to-end.
• Provide advanced support and mentor junior staff.
• Collaborate with cross-functional infra, cloud, security, and support teams.
