Job summary

Dark Wolf is seeking a Google Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage GCP solutions for government and commercial clients. You will work hybrid/remote from a Dark Wolf Hub in Herndon, VA or other U.S. locations.

You will lead Cloud infrastructure projects, develop IaC with Terraform, configure GCP services, and implement security best practices. This role requires US citizenship and an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
3+ years of experience in cloud computing.
1+ years of experience with GCP.
1+ years of programming in Python or similar language.
Strong knowledge of Google Cloud services and technologies.
Experience leading technical teams and coaching juniors.
Experience with IaC and Terraform.
Experience with DevOps and CI/CD in cloud environments.
US Citizenship and active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

Drive and implement technology solutions on Google Cloud.
Translate customer requirements into engineering tasks with stakeholders.
Develop and maintain IaC using Terraform.
Configure and manage GCP services such as Compute Engine, App Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL.
Architect and implement security best practices on GCP (Assured Workloads, Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, Security Command Center).
Stay current with new GCP services and Public Sector applicability.
