Job summary

Dark Wolf is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage Google Cloud Platform solutions for our customers. The role emphasizes scalable, secure cloud engineering with Terraform-based IaC and strong GCP expertise.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in cloud computing, 3+ years on GCP, and holds Sec+ and Google Professional Cloud Architect certifications. This largely remote role requires US citizenship and a Secret clearance; occasional on-site work may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in cloud computing.
• 3+ years of experience with GCP.
• 5+ years of experience with one or more programming languages (e.g. Python).
• Required Certifications: Sec+ and Google Professional Cloud Architect.
• Strong understanding of Google Cloud services and technologies.
• Experience leading technical teams including delegating tasks, reviewing designs and coaching juniors.
• Experience designing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions.
• Experience with Terraform and infrastructure automation.
• Strong DevOps and CI/CD in cloud environments.
• US Citizenship and active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Drive and implement technology solutions on Google Cloud.
• Work with customers, partners, and internal project team members to translate requirements into engineering tasks.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Configure and manage GCP services such as Compute Engine, App Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, DataFlow, and BigQuery.
• Architect and implement security best practices for GCP solutions using Assured Workloads, IAP, WIF, Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, and Security Command Center.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest GCP services and their applicability to the Public Sector.
