Job summary

Mizzen+Main is seeking an Independent Golf Sales Representative to manage a Mid-Atlantic territory (MD/DC/PA). This remote, 1099 role focuses on growing existing accounts and opening new ones while maintaining strong relationships with golf buyers.

You’ll drive sales, provide product training, assist with merchandising, and represent Mizzen+Main at regional and national shows. Prior golf/retail sales and a bachelor’s degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field or equivalent experience in golf, retail, or sales.
• Proven sales experience within golf or retail and related networks in the territory.
• Must reside in the Mid-Atlantic region and be able to work as an independent contractor.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; highly organized and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Drive and close sales in the assigned Mid-Atlantic territory (MD/DC/PA).
• Build and maintain relationships with golf buyers and accounts; visit stores and host events.
• Provide product training to accounts on-season and pre-book lines.
• Assist with visual merchandising and inventory awareness for partners.
• Manage regional trade shows and participate in national shows when needed (e.g., PGA Show).
• Prospect, open new accounts, and expand brand presence in the territory.
• Identify opportunities for soft shops or fixtures to boost brand moments; aid tournament opportunities.
• Monitor business performance and provide regular quantitative/qualitative reporting to supervisor.
• Support Mizzen+Main culture and team success.
