The ideal candidate has 5+ years in golf course maintenance, turfgrass knowledge, irrigation, pest/disease control, and strong financial acumen.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent.
• Extensive knowledge of turfgrass science, irrigation, and pest/disease control.
• Proven leadership and staff management ability.
• Strong financial acumen and budget experience.
• Degree in Agronomy, Horticulture, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop agronomic plans for turfgrass health, irrigation, pest management, and fertilization.
• Lead and mentor maintenance staff with a culture of improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive agronomic plans for turfgrass health, irrigation, pest management, and fertilization.
• Manage and mentor the golf course maintenance staff, providing clear direction and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Oversee the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation and responsible financial management.
• Implement and enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and environmental stewardship practices across all maintenance operations.

• Collaborate with the golf club management, professional staff, and committees to meet playing standards and member expectations.
