Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Generative AI Specialist to design and build high-performance Go backend services for cloud-native, distributed systems. This remote role emphasizes latency, concurrency, and scalable architectures across teams.

The candidate will work with cross-functional partners to translate requirements into robust Go solutions, participate in code/design reviews, and mentor junior engineers while contributing to reusable internal patterns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering, with significant Go experience.
• Strong understanding of Go concurrency patterns (goroutines, channels, contexts).
• Hands-on experience with gRPC and/or REST APIs in Go.
• Kubernetes-native development experience (client-go, controller-runtime).
• Experience with relational and key-value data stores.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and container-based deployment.
• Excellent debugging and performance engineering skills.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement performant backend services and APIs in Go with concurrency focus.
• Build cloud-native applications using Go and Kubernetes-native libraries.
• Develop CLI tools, Kubernetes controllers, and custom operators for internal platforms.
• Implement gRPC and REST APIs with observability and security.
• Profile and optimize Go apps for memory, GC, and goroutine behavior.
• Integrate with messaging systems (Kafka, NATS) and data stores (PostgreSQL, Redis, etcd).
• Build automated tests: unit, integration, benchmark.
• Implement structured logging, metrics, and distributed tracing.
• Lead code reviews and uphold Go engineering standards.
• Mentor junior/mid engineers; share knowledge.
• Contribute to internal Go libraries and patterns.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
