Job summary

Relative Dynamics seeks a GNC Software Engineer to design, develop and test flight software for lunar missions. You will work on Kalman filtering, GN&C sensor integration, and real-time software in C/C++ within a cross-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Aerospace Engineering or related field with 3–7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience developing and implementing Kalman Filters.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and/or Python; real-time software development experience.
• Familiarity with GN&C hardware including IMU, Star Trackers, GPS, LIDAR and/or OpNav systems.
• Experience with SWIL and HWIL testing and integration.
• Exposure to relative navigation, image processing or feature detection techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develop GNC flight software in C and C++ and participate in design, development and testing.
• Contribute to GNC sensor selection, assessment and integration for the satellite.
• Execute and analyze 6 DOF simulations to evaluate on-orbit performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across software and hardware systems.
• Support real-time flight software development, integration and testing for the lunar mission.
• Assist in navigation HWIL sensor integration and testing.
