Airbus U.S. Space & Defense, Inc. is seeking a motivated GNC Engineer to support development, analysis, and verification of satellite GNC systems. You will contribute from requirements through integration and testing, collaborating with senior engineers across cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes analytical capability, initiative, and growth within space systems engineering, with responsibilities across design, simulation, and lifecycle work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or related field.
• Master's degree in STEM preferred.
• Minimum: 3 years with a Bachelor's degree, or 1 year with a Master's degree.
• Experience with Matlab/Simulink; familiarity with STK.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (C/C++ or Python).
• Exposure to verification/validation activities and software development practices.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement GNC solutions for satellite platforms.
• Develop and analyze spacecraft GNC algorithms and flight software.
• Create high-fidelity simulations for GNC performance and validation.
• Support requirements flow-down and test planning across lifecycle phases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align architectures and interfaces.
• Assist in cost/reuse initiatives and design-for-test considerations.
