Airbus U.S. Space & Defense, Inc. is seeking an experienced Guidance, Navigation, and Control Engineer (Contract) to develop satellite GNC solutions.

This role supports the full development lifecycle from requirements to operations and offers fully remote opportunities across the United States with preferred locations listed. The position emphasizes GNC design for spacecraft, simulation development, verification, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver heritage-based, cost-effective space

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience in GNC analysis, design and verification on spacecraft with a bachelor's degree.
• 5+ years' experience in GNC analysis, design and verification on spacecraft with a master's degree.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement GNC designs for spacecraft to accommodate mission payloads.
• Analyze, design, and develop GNC systems including sensors, actuators, algorithms, and flight software.
• Support subsystem requirements and design-for-cost/Design-for-manufacturability/Design-for-test across lifecycle.
• Demonstrate ability to drive multiple design activities and coordinate cross-functional planning.
