Job summary

Airbus U.S. Space & Defense, Inc is seeking a motivated Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Engineer to support the development, analysis, and verification of satellite GNC systems.

This role covers the lifecycle from requirements refinement through integration and testing, working closely with senior engineers. The position emphasizes developing high-fidelity simulations, integrating sensors and flight software, and collaborating across teams, while opportunities for growth in space systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM fields required; master's preferred.
• Experience with spacecraft dynamics, sensors, actuators, or control algorithms.
• Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink; familiarity with STK.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to GNC design for new spacecraft payloads and platforms.
• Develop high-fidelity simulations and verify GNC performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams; assist in design for test and manufacturability.
• Document model validation results and support design reviews.
