Mercy Ships is seeking a Technical Sector Lead to drive proactive recruitment for maritime volunteers. You will lead global recruiters, shape sector strategies, and partner with international teams to ensure a seamless candidate experience across time zones and cultures.

Responsibilities include data-driven reporting, stakeholder communication, and ongoing improvement of the recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to onboarding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
• 5+ years of recruitment leadership experience.
• Experience in NGO/humanitarian environments preferred.
• Experience coordinating across time zones and cultures.
• Proficiency with Salesforce and Greenhouse or similar ATS.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor global recruiters to meet sourcing and engagement targets.
• Develop sector-specific recruitment plans aligning with current and future needs.
• Track recruitment metrics and present data-driven insights to leadership.
• Serve as liaison between ISC and Sector Recruitment teams; communicate staffing needs.
• Foster a growth-focused team culture and ensure effective onboarding of volunteers.
