Job summary

Cultural Vistas in the United States seeks a Visa Specialist to support professional exchanges for Train USA programs. You will evaluate visa applications, assist host companies, and ensure compliance with J-1 regulations.

You will serve as Alternate Responsible Officer for SEVIS, manage deadlines, and communicate with hosts, participants, and attorneys to provide high-quality visa processing services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 2–4 years in admin support, customer service, or program management.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, analytics and presentation skills.
• Ability to represent the organization professionally in meetings/events.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with diverse stakeholders.
• High attention to detail for records and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage visa processing for host companies and participants.
• Evaluate sponsorship applications for compliance with J-1 rules and CV policies.
• Provide guidance and support throughout the visa process.
• Serve as Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO) for SEVIS.
• Monitor SEVIS deadlines and ensure accurate records.
• Send invoices and track payments.
• Periodically conduct local site visits to ensure program compliance.
