Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Specialist, Global Trade Licensing (Remote) to develop export authorization strategies and manage ITAR/EAR compliance for defense and dual-use articles. You will prepare license applications, provide status updates to leadership, and collaborate across programs to ensure compliant execution.

The role offers remote work with exposure to international trade, training, and regulatory interpretation in a global defense business.

Qualifications

• University degree with 5+ years experience in global trade or an advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Experience researching and applying ITAR and EAR regulations.
• Experience with global trade tools such as DECCS, SNAP-R, SAP-GT or OCR EASE.

Responsibilities

• Assist with export authorization strategies for international marketing, sales, support, offshore procurement, and manufacturing of defense and dual use articles.
• Prepare and submit quality export/import license applications, agreements, eligible exemptions/exceptions and other requests for USG approval.
• Provide export/import authorization status updates to leadership and capture/program teams
• Participate in strategic business engagement at the program level to ensure business execution, growth and compliance.
• Provide consistent interpretation of ITAR and EAR regulations to the Power and Controls business.
• Facilitate approvals for the physical export/import of hardware and other transactional activities involving controlled goods, information and services.
• Assist in implementation of company procedures and instructions to support compliance with U.S. Government export/import regulations and company policy.
