Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a Manager I Global Trade Compliance (Remote) to help build and oversee the Global Trade Services function for the CLS BU in the Americas. You will ensure compliance with import/export laws, drive duty reduction, and partner with governance teams to implement training and audits across BU plants and distribution centers.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of regional trade compliance experience, with travel 10–25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (international business, supply chain, law, or related field).
• 5+ years' experience in global trade compliance in the Americas region; experience in Mexico and South America is a plus.
• Preferred: 3+ years' experience in supporting trade functions within industrial/electronics/communications sectors.
• Familiarity with import/export regulations and US customs practices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert for U.S. Customs and Trade operations in the Americas region.
• Lead duty reduction initiatives and knowledge of Section 232 and 301 tariff regimes.
• Implement and oversee trade operations for the BU and plants/DC to ensure compliance.
• Maintain BU-level KPIs and reporting; collaborate with BU stakeholders.
• Partner with GTS Governance to monitor regulatory changes and conduct audits.
• Develop and deliver trade compliance training across region.
