Job summary

Orbiss is a fast-growing advisory firm seeking a Tax Associate to join its Corporate Tax team in the United States. From day one, you’ll work on real cross-border returns, not just data entry, and collaborate with seniors to deliver high-quality engagements.

You’ll prepare corporate and partnership returns across industries, run nexus analyses, compute federal income, and handle international tax forms. The role requires US work authorization and CPA in progress.

Qualifications

• Must have Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 2–3 years of international tax experience in a CPA firm.
• Proficiency in at least one tax software.
• Able to meet deadlines and communicate early when plans shift.
• Autonomous yet collaborative with the team.
• US work authorization required and CPA in progress.

Responsibilities

• Prepare corporate and partnership tax returns for diverse industries (revenues from $0 to $100M).
• Run state and local nexus analyses and apportionment calculations.
• Compute federal taxable income and identify book-to-tax differences.
• Work on international tax forms (e.g., 5472, 5471, 8865, 8858, 1042-S, FinCEN 114).
• Collaborate directly with seniors and managers on complex engagements.
