Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure supplier quality, delivery, and performance across the Aeroderivative Engine Operations Industrialization supply chain. You will evaluate supplier capability, conduct qualifications and audits, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement.

This role involves onsite supplier support as needed and travel up to 20% globally. You will work with engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, planning, and NPI teams to align supplier

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of professional experience OR associate’s degree with 8+ years OR high school diploma with 10+ years of professional experience.
• Minimum 4 years of professional quality systems or supplier quality experience.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier qualification and supplier development activities for the Aeroderivative Engine Operations Industrialization supply chain.
• Conduct supplier audits to assess compliance with quality requirements and industry expectations.
• Evaluate supplier performance using KPIs such as PPM, escapes, MRB and other scorecard indicators.
• Partner with suppliers to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and drive sustainable improvements.
• Develop and manage supplier action plans to address performance gaps.
• Perform new supplier qualifications and maintain qualification records.
• Support supplier onboarding and coordinate supplier exit processes when needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supplier strategies with quality requirements.
