Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a Global Senior Accountant Controllership for teleworking, located in Colombia.

The role responsibilities include partnering with the Tools & Outdoor teams, overseeing Fixed Assets and Global Supply Chain accounting, and enforcing GAAP compliance across asset processes. The position requires a BS in Accounting/Finance, 3–5 years in relevant roles, and strong Excel and data analytics skills.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP; CPA a plus.
• English proficiency; advanced level preferred (C1-C2).
• 3–5 years in auditing, accounting, controllership or related roles.
• Experience in a U.S. multinational public company; US GAAP knowledge.
• Proficiency with MS Excel; pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF.
• Experience with SAP, Hyperion HFM, Alteryx is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with T&O business and Corporate Accounting on accounting matters.
• Oversee global accounting for Fixed Assets and Global Supply Chain processes.
• Provide leadership to controllership teams and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Prepare CIP aging analytics and Fixed Asset reporting for month end close.
• Coordinate Fixed Asset inventories and cycle counts.
• Analyze CIP balances and optimize aging.
