Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Director of Global Security to lead our worldwide security strategy and operations, protecting employees, facilities and business continuity across regions. The role reports to the Senior Director and is fully remote with opportunities for international travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, International Relations, Business, Emergency Management, or related field.
• 20+ years of relevant functional experience in security, law enforcement, military, intelligence, or corporate risk/security.
• 10+ years of leadership experience managing teams and enterprise-level security programs.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and prioritize global security risks as part of enterprise risk & threat management.
• Establish security policies, standards, and operating models across regions and define global security strategy.
• Standardize site security risk assessments and mitigation plans; oversee physical security systems and guard programs.
• Support crisis management, incident response, business continuity, and executive incident escalation.
• Define and provide executive protection strategies and travel security program elements.
• Collaborate with EHS, Legal, HR, IT and Operations to execute security programs.
