Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking an experienced Clinical Project Manager II for Oncology. This fully remote US‑based role supports a diverse oncology portfolio across indications and phases, coordinating cross‑functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to drive execution and timeline adherence.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in global oncology study leadership, strong ICH‑GCP knowledge, and the ability to manage multi‑country studies. Optional travel up to 25% is included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific, healthcare, or related field is required
• 3+ years of Clinical Project Management experience supporting global oncology clinical trials
• Experience across multiple countries/regions (NA, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Latin America)
• Vendor management experience required
• Strong understanding of clinical trial operations and study lifecycle management
• Experience with Phase I–IV oncology studies
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work effectively within global, cross-functional matrix organizations

Responsibilities

• Drive operational leadership and execution of global oncology trials
• Lead day-to-day study management across startup, conduct, maintenance and closeout
• Manage study timelines, deliverables, risks, and issue resolution
• Oversee external vendors, CROs, labs, imaging vendors, and specialty providers
• Coordinate Clinical Trial Team meetings and drive action item follow-up
• Support study planning, forecasting and operational strategy execution
• Monitor study performance metrics and identify areas for intervention
• Ensure inspection readiness and regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with Clinical Operations, Data Management, Biostatistics, Regulatory, Safety, Supply Chain and Quality
• Contribute to study status reporting and executive communications
• Support milestones, enrollment targets, database locks and closeout activities
• Travel up to 25%
